Normally, the Southern Steel 10300E lock should not require adjustments after being properly installed. Maintenance tips for all Southern Steel locks is provided in the General Maintenance Guidelines. Review these guidelines before attempting to trouble shoot the 10300E.

When inspecting the 10300E locks, check all electrical connections at the lock. Faulty light indication may be caused by loose or improperly connected wires. Also, check for proper voltage at the lock. 

If additional lock adjustment is necessary, contact Weizel Security.

Lubrication

The 10300E Dead Latch Electric Locks require periodic lubrication on the latch bolt and deadlock activator with a Teflon particle lubricate.
